Sonnet Poem
I am laying my head down wearing you wrapped tight until my earbuds hurt,
Doing nothing in a day but putting together sounds and rhythms you play,
Closing my eyes to focus I whisper the soothing melodic words,
The only time I feel this happy is never and a day,
My own world where I can have peace of mind no matter how I am feeling,
It will be a brighter moment I can guarantee it for certain
When I leave you on as I walk through traffic I feel I'm almost disappearing,
People never interst me enough to take you off and speak in person,
There is nothing like a few of my favourite songs and volume,
Putting on my headphones and passing the time in my room.
