A lonely place, is a place to weep,
an eternal sleep deep within, you know
turmoils and tumors, dirts and empty fields.
the sunset is early to mourn.
on a sweet chilly morn
the eyes is tempted to flood
flood with lukewarm waters and sorrowful smiles.
We wish to wave to the summer tide,
where pebbles and stones glistens,
out on the evening weather and only your ears listens
at every corner of your side
goes nature beckoning for a glide,
like a pistol in the range hungry for a kill,
yet, yet still we are bloody silent as a grave
A lonely place is the warmness of dusk,
grazing you gleefully like the soothing taste of dust,
embracing the very fibre of your feet
lost in life's essence and replenishing the soul,
the crickets are chirping,
the frogs are croaking
Within the misty fogginess of your soul,
dwells a pinky taste of worrisome
A lonely place is nature's habitat,
lost within range,
in the bayou or the open fields,
Shot with bayonets of grief
but the calmness of the wind,
will take everything away, including the urge to cry.
a lonely place is a fulfilling place,
the time crawls by and relief creeps gently creeps in.
POETIC NOTES & ANALYSIS
Loneliness gives mankind the ability to muse, bask or even muse in all sort of memory. However the only that takes away grief is time, self consolation as well and this however is the focal point of the poem.
The poem speaks about the foreboding and grief in the heart of man it makes mention of the fact that man's way of dealing with this is in fact very plenteous.
A lonely place is like solace, a place that makes it possible to cure the wound in the heart and the poet specifically speaks about the soothing tendencies of nature. He speaks about the fact that nature is like medicine to any aching soul and by nature be specifically referred to the oceans as well. The ocean the view of the morning sun, the evening weather and an eerie place where one can listen to their thoughts without distractions, this is what he considered the perfect medicine for grief. A LONELY PLACE
