For Mother's Day and Lesbians Everywhere

I wrote this a while ago

Dad says Mom’s a lesbian,
I don’t know what that means…
Maybe that she loves M&Ms and purple jelly beans,
Maybe that she loves wishing on stars,
And sharing gooey candy bars,
Playing with me in the park,
And reading to me when it gets dark.
Maybe it means she loves our life…
I don’t know; I’ll ask her wife.
