People are starstruck by so many things
By famous people and the lifestyles they enjoy
They love the entertainment, it helps them escape
They dream of being the hero with money and fancy toys
Their starstruck by the world and all it offers
A bigger home, a vacation and endless stuff
They get up each day and join the rat race
They try to buy happiness but it's never enough
We are guided by a media towards their agenda
They control what we see and hear
They want you distracted so you won't see the truth
They want to be the ones shifting your gears
The social media platforms we all love and use
They're in our homes and businesses every day
We don't read the contract, we just give them permission
One by one we give our freedoms away
They believe their leaders when they say it's safe
They believe everything in the world will be just fine
They believe that the world will go on forever
And there is always going to be more time
They distract us so we'll have blinders on
And we've gotten so busy we don't clearly see
That this grand old country can come to an end
And then no one in the world will be free
They distract us so you think all is well
That America will always be a safety net
If they can destroy the American way of life
A one world order is all you will get
Satan will distract you with cunning lies
So you won't know what to believe
Without the foundation of God in your life
You're starstruck, distracted and naive
