Like a bee sting, I can’t ignore you,
I keep trying to run away only to be
trapped by the sweetness of your honey.
I try to look the other way only
to be buzzed in your nest.
You are irresistible yet my death
is inevitable at your touch.
I look to the full moon
for answers but she just smiles with wit.
I go to the waves of the ocean to hear
wise words but they rest in stillness.
I am searching for a resolution to this mad affair
but my soul seems intent on ridding out this madness.

Wow. Powerful poem. Thanks for sharing. "I am searching for a resolution to this mad affair
but my soul seems intent on ridding out this madness."
I find the internal disconnect between will and action that you write about here very fascinating. I can empathize with it a lot.
Thank you, I am grateful for your comment!
