the trees have gifted
me with a chance
to look within me
and get lifted.
my ego's dying,
and i'm slowly
starting to deny
the people lying.
and i write a poem
to in it roam.
i've flown
for so many nights;
so many flights -
they've shown
me things i can't express
but i confess
