inherently unfair --
odds are all against you
and no one seems to care.
Smacks you in the face
just when you think
it's turned around,
steals all your hope
and always lets you down.
the hills that we climb
enhances our character
teaches us to shine.
Sturdies our gait
in the harshest of times
shows us our way
if we're looking for the signs.
dance in the rain
cry in the darkness
experience all that pain.
Embrace all those sorrows
greet them with a grin
hold your head high
and always look within.
Remember to be kind
don't sweat all the strife
nothing stays the same
its just that thing.., called life.
