We will survive. Sometimes the journey just takes time.
I often get questions about my work/writing and chasing my dreams. People want to know how to get to a good place, or whether its worth it. They want to know if they should keep pursuing those passions, or leave a job they hate for a job they love. I wish I could give a simple answer - it's not easy.
Sometimes you can't just uproot your life, or quit your 9 to 5, or leave your day job for a crazy idea in your head. Sometimes that's a possibility, and sometimes its not even an option.
Sometimes you have to set the dreams aside for a minute and be realistic. Sometimes you have to work your butt off for things you don't like so that it all pays off for the things you do. Sometimes you have people to take care of, or priorities that come first. And you shouldn't apologize for that - but don't let those obstacles destroy your dreams.
The journey there isn't easy, but you will survive. So don't give up on what you love or believe in.
