The sky, its light blueness
Seen as only a few kilometers away-
Seeing horizon lines beyond squatting mountains-
Where hawks fly in untraceable trajectories
And hillocks are molehills-
Where magicians go to lament in pain
Seeking for libations of their sins.
The sun magnificent as it is in its estimated position
Seems orbiting around the earth;
The facts cosmologists defy,
Based on their discernments of our earth –
As a globe, tilted, that spins on its axis within twenty four hours
But rotating around the sun within 366 days;
These being just mere perceptions; perceptions mapping our lives:
How much more do we think we really know of a thing?
When the supposed knowledge being just mere perceptions:
Calling humanity to question assumptions and values
Could be these are just mere illusions haunting us all
Influencing how we act, how we behave, how we live
Self-assessment, self introspection, self-examinations
Could be the vocabulary individuals need to re-learn.
