Boom and blood
Bang and shock
Shock and horror
Horror and waste
First and second.

A sea of firefighters
Hunt the rubble
For human heads.

A heavy rain
Of flaming tears
Fills the wells
Of swollen eyes.

The world stands
Afflicted
In sympathy
With
A stunned giant
Caught in slumber.
