Wonderful sea,
Wicked sea,
You connived
And watched
As they shipped
My blood.

Heartless sea,
Intriguing sea,
In complicity
With red ships
And fair hair
You took away
My healthy flesh
Bound in chains.

Wonderful sea,
Sensitive sea,
Let green ships
Berth,
Let green ships
Bring back
The stolen wealth
And
Our darling brothers.

Let green ships
Generate
New jobs
Fresh industries
Quality goods,
Not
Fake shoes.
