Here is the truth.
I have chosen to
love you from a distance.

From a place
where the moon sleeps
at nights and the sun
paints in the mornings.

You see,
that is the only way
my heart can still
love you and survive.

A lot of truth in this poem. It makes me think of a lot of situations throughout my life.

Sometimes love can be damaging, sometimes love can be poison, sometimes love isn't meant to be. It isn't love itself, but the circumstances.

Sometimes loving from a distance is the only "right" choice.
