She's got everything,
She's the daughter of a king,
All her wishes are granted in a blink,
I can't be jealous of her,
How juvenile will that be?
She flaunts her riches in my face,
But I know I'm only living by grace,
Her behaviour is just a case,
I try not to give her space,
Because I can't be jealous of her.
I can't be jealous of her,why?
'Cause she's only a flower that blooms in July,
By August all her beauty will be gone by,
I wanna be the one to stand by,
And prove that I lead a better life after all.
'Cause she's only a flower that blooms in July,
By August all her beauty will be gone by
I like that line. Lovely poem.
Thanks a bunch
Nice
Thank you for writing about this difficult topic. Jealousy is such a difficult emotion to cope with and it's rampant in our communities. I realized jealousy in my own life is a pointing sign to the areas in my life where I want to grow myself. Thank you for choosing the high road!
Thanks for your comment and encouragement...I'll put in my best
Just wrote a poem about the inner fears that come up when we are working with community. Thought you might be interested. https://steemit.com/poetrydice/@amoonnile/pdc3k-wk24-balancing-the-mind-in-the-hands-of-community
