That is so sad. I pray for your dog's safe return. My son's dog keeps running off, and it is so worrisome.

Having them missing for even a few hours is stressful enough, so a couple of weeks would be madness. I really, really hope he returns to you guys safely.
Have you tried anything 'out of the box' to locate his whereabouts? Like dowsing, or meditation?

feel something whenever i think of him, like a strong message that i can't quite put my finger on. like he is still alive somewhere... maybe with someone. perhaps in the morning I'll try properly dowsing or spending some time in meditation for him specifically. thanks for this!thank you @ravenruis, for this. i feel such a kinship with you. haven't specifically tried dowsing or meditation, but i do

<3 yeah it's happened before when he was gone only 4 days with the other dog, Luci, and I was totally crazy. this time she is here and I guess i just figured he'd come back. but now it's really hitting home and i'm feeling devastated... praying for his return <3

I'm so sorry to hear about your doggo!! I really feel for you on this, I know what it's like to have dogs run off and it's overwhelms me with grief. I hope he is just on a grand adventure and will find his way back soon. I read a post about a piggy who ran off for several months and eventually returned which is pretty amazing. Sending all I got in prayer for his safe return and positive vibes for you <3
... yeah it's so sad! feeling better today. a huge wind of it hit me last night. hoping he's just off on a grand adventure, too. love the story of a pig?! running off and returning. a couple friends of ours' dog ran off for 24 days and returned in our local area. here's to hoping that happens with chivo :)! thanks for your prayer and positive vibes<3 <3
Man, that's heart breaking to hear. I have never has a dog but when I was a boy my cat used to go missing for weeks. We always hoped she was off after rats or something and just had to hope she would come back. She always did but it didn't change how hard the waiting was. My thoughts are with you. Your poem is beautiful.

Oh no, it's so sad to lose a dog. With any luck he'll be back. Fingers crossed. Some of our neighbourhood dogs have gone missing due to what I assume are leopards as they have been more sightings of them, so I can kinda relate. Even though they aren't my own dogs their absence is felt.
thank you soul turtle <3 wow leopards.. that's wild. yes it is the palpable absence isn't it... luckily we have 6 chickens, 2 cats and another dog. if he was our only animal i think i would be feeling it a whole lot more <3
