RE: The Light That Remains (Original Poetry)

in #poetry2 days ago

A hopeful poem! There is always a light, though small as the flame of a match or candle, there is always a light. An inner light that is what allows us to stand firm in the face of winter or possible darkness. It is that tiny light that energizes us and guides us when we are disoriented. A beautiful poem on this last Sunday of January. Hope the weather is better for you. Many hugs, my friend!

Thank you! That glimmer of hope is what carries us through the depths of winter here in Minnesota! Lol. The weather forecast is showing it getting a little warmer every day this week but I know that's just a tease. The warmer temps probably won't start to solidify until late April or early May but we'll take whatever we can get. The solitude of winter is good for my writing. : ) I hope you have a wonderful Sunday and week ahead Nancy!

Same to you, my friend. Take care of yourself and wrap up warm
