I'm sorry if you're angry
I'm sorry if you're mad
But my brain is out to lunch

My body's here, my mouth forming words

fingers typing emails

pen scribbling a jumble of letters, all meaningless

I wonder, if my mind goes on a vacation, will the voices stop?

Look, I promise, it's on its way, it's stuck in traffic.
Traffic, yes, and car problems, too. All of it, just-

just stop looking at me.
Stop staring at me.
Stop.
STOP.

I promise, I'm not lazy, I promise I didn't forget, I-

My brain is out to lunch
Perhaps even brunch
So I apologize a bunch
and

and

You're still looking at me, aren't you.
You're all waiting, all watching, and now you're giving me that look, like you're worried about me.

im fine ok

dont waste your time

dont waste your breath

Think happy thoughts and forget about the times I was there.
Trust me.

you're better off without them.

My take on this is reminiscent of the state of the world today. I sometimes take a step back, just to watch how fast everything is. Sometimes it's literally dizzying. To find peace, with no interference, is no easy task, and with most individuals caught up in this hamster wheel, it's hard for them see how overbearing they become. If you proclaim your boundaries, or need for personal space your lucky to get away with your sanity. Towards the end, it becomes clear of the disassociation. The impeding madness of the interference causes the recession within to become worse, even debilitating, and because you know, talking about it doesn't make any difference, you appease, retreat, and transgress. Very well written. I thoroughly enjoyed. I'll return later to read some more, and of course, I'm now a follower!

I'm liked the rawness in this, you could really tell it was written down as it came to you. That stream-of-consciousness writing!
