Hi fellow Steemians. It's yet another day in the 100 days of poetry challenge organized by @d-pend and day 10 is here. Enjoy reading...
Poem Title: Adulterers
Not all infants get to enjoy infancy.
Most adults are epicurean of adultery.
But each old folk has an odyssey.
As real as John the Baptist dove prophecy.
Be an adulterer, have an unordered family tree,
Which isn’t uncommon even in today’s episcopacy.
Adulterers alone know what they benefit.
Just like an hourglass, we can’t tell the head or feet,
The eyes of their souls has seen defeat,
Their square pegs fit into round holes with ease
For we do not know when this shall cease.
And that’s how they spread a deadly disease.
If my rants qualifies me for discerning,
And acquaint them with societal ethos for learning,
Let eternity determine what I’m to be earning.
Readers Note:
I'm a beginner. The inspiration for this poem came from the society we live in today. The fact that adultery is common doesn't make it acceptable... Who am I to judge anyone anyways. Just let me know what you think in the comment box.

Ok. Will check it out.
It is common that is true and I wonder how many people don't know their real fathers, it is a sobering thought indeed.
Very good and thought provoking entry into the 100 Day Poetry Challenge.
The number is high for sure.
