In South Africa we only have two seasons, summer and winter. Very often both in the same day. It officially Spring. It was 35C today, and for the forseeable future.

sweating hands tools slip

Sweating hands tools slip
anxiety consuming
paralysing fear
paralysing fear
is an impossible task
rather dance with fear
rather dance with fear
a precipitous knife edge
amid the thunder
amid the thunder
between lightning's edges keen
may we step lightly
may we step lightly
into the dawn of the day
demons undisturbed
