I love the part where I get to send the authors SBD for working hard to make this challenge great. Please allow 24 hours for your transfers to be complete. A big thanks to our friends who make the challenge possible, to our resident judge @serejandmyself, who also donates along with @timsaid and me, @prufarchy.
Now, onto Challenge #4!
Loop Poetry
The rules on this type of poetry are very loose. There is no rhyming scheme necessary, nor are there requirements on the number of lines you may use, or the number of stanzas or what their make up could be. The ONLY rule is that the last word of each sentence must be the first word in the next. When you start a new stanza, you don't have to use the last word from the previous stanza.
Because it bears repeating: The ONLY rule is that the last word of each sentence must be the first word in the next.
Here's an example:
Brave Like the Moon (Original)
Poetry is motion
Motion in mind
Mind over words
words there to find.
Poems, they sing
Sing to our hearts
hearts orbiting
orbiting strange moons.
We twist and we shout
shout and we drown
drown in our love
love all our fear
fear brings us home
home is where we're safe
safe from the shouts.
The Earth and its paths
paths bring us close
close to our courage
courage to be brave
brave like the moon.
Wow, thank you so much for choosing my entry!
I'm speechless...
I guess I have to open up a bottle of something.
Cheers!

Cannot wait to get going on the new challenge. I am really really enjoying and relishing working on these!! The most creative challenges on steemit and it's great reading everyone's entries!!
I cannot wait to see what you and everyone else with come up with next! I'm glad you like the next theme!
It's a cracker as they say in Scotland!! Cheers man?
I enjoyed writing my poem for slam #3 but due to the rule about original artwork, I'm not entering #4 as art's not my thing; I find choosing pictures difficult enough! I only entered #3 because the rules said original artwork preferred but implied that it wasn't strictly necessary.
I think that your challenges are brilliant, but not for me, because my style and content is very different to that which the judge appreciates-all the winners write in a manner similar to her/his own.
I might write one for fun though.
I still like to hold that it isn't strictly necessary, just that preference goes to work with some original imagery associated. But I totally understand about visual art not being your thing, I'm definitely no painter, illustrator or animator myself.
What I found helped was using my own pictures and taking advantage of editing apps and text apps for titling my work on my phone. But I'm also very often away from my desktop, so I try to do the best I can with this smartphone. I hope you decide to give it a shot, whether for this challenge or the one for fun :)
The vision is that eventually we will have multiple judges in differing categories. While there will be a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, I want more people to be able to receive prizes for their work through honorable mentions for their illustration, painting, photography, etc that they have envisioned or re-purposed for their entry. I guess I just like giving away SBD too, because there's so much talent and creativity here. But please don't feel as though it is a barrier to entry, it just raises the level of competition from the start. There's so much good work!
This xenopus boy will continue to try and expand the SBD opportunities, and I hope you stick around :)
I like your vision. I've just written one so I'll enter for fun-without a picture.
Congratz everybody! Was a blast for sure, thanks for organizing this and thanks to everybody for participating :)
Thank you again for holding these challenges. It really helps in motivation and keeping creative juices flowing. Much appreciated. Looking forward to challenge #4.
Thank you for that, it's why I'm so passionate about this project. I write everyday and now I've gotten to meet others who do as well, authors I can follow and enjoy :) I'm very happy to see that people are benefiting
