RE: Travel Thursday #3 - A Day In Liverpool

in #poetry6 years ago

What a lovely travel diary. I agree. I could easily just travel everyday and never miss home as long as my son was with me and he loves to travel too and so I think we would make a good pair. I think he would even walk the world with me. Don't like carrying a heavy bag though and so would need to find a way to travel super light:)

I have been to London but never Liverpool. I will have to make another trip and see the sights. Thanks so much for this intimate travel diary. You have wonderful tone to your prose:)

Thank you so much! Travelling is so beautiful, and to lose oneself in it completely evokes pure bliss. I agree with you on not liking to carry a big and heavy bag around whilst travelling - it gets in the way of the experience. In a few days I am off on a 3 month trip, first to Poland for a month and then Asia for 2, and all I am bringing with me is an approximately 33l bag. It feels great to declutter and not possess so much junk, especially whilst travelling.

Do go! You will not regret it! Once again, thanks! :)

I wonder if I could get away with shoulder bag. It would be a challenge.

It certainly would be, but as long as you can minimise your material needs and find a way to carry them around comfortably it should be okay. Perhaps a shoulder bag would get heavy and irritating with a lot of weight. Give it a shot!
