I love the poem. The first part of the poem reminded me of my younger years. I had a speech impediment and went to speech therapy for a while. It made things a ton better, but when I got really tired I'd have trouble saying the right words. Somebody told me the phrase, "Listen to what I mean, not what I say" that I still use this day, and I would use it and it would break me out of my frustration and allow me to laugh at myself.
