Coated edges and closed eyes
My stories will grow
Where my flaws couldn't go
That elude your view
Births reasons
For the light tomorrow
Beyond fights and fists
I'll tell my story
My sacrifices and sorrow
On this part of the equator
Are birds of the same colours
But different feathers
But they will never know
How much I've sacrificed
Or how I've died so many deaths
Beyond success and smiles
Lies ridges of painful strokes
Dug on my back; a different story

Note
The poem is talking about the struggling, hustling part of the writer which people don't see. The successive ending stanzas talk about the anticipated success.
Thank you for reading
Cheers
Nice. In life, we see only a little of what we're meant to.
Yes. I agree but not totally though.
We can actually see all and achieve it if we employ the right means.
That's what I said as well.
Ol'right sire.
I get you😀
