I had to cry. This is so powerful. I had to take care of my younger siblings while my Mother worked. This really hit home for me. Not only that but I, too, contemplated suicide around that age... Coincidentally I, too, have been burned. Over 50% of my body (the lower half) was burnt, and my feet are horribly disfigured, but at least I have them. And I still joined the army....hmmm....this will make a really great future post. #liveon
