Tonight I dreamt of a great wall
I couldn’t see beyond it
Or above it
This wasn’t the dream I ordered
One of passion or belonging
One of rolling forests or rivers
One of adventure or crucial experience
It was a fucking wall
It loomed over me to steal the sun
It’s plain texture disgusted me
Like everything behind me
