Amidst the cosmetic dance
which sinks the moral cosmos,
the lipstick hides the virus
lurking in the lips,
AIDS to beauty.
One kiss and you awake
eternity
surrounded by Lucifer
in horrendous hell,
AIDS to beauty.
The mascara laughs
at the yearning gazes
of lusty and lost youths
trapped by her hairless eyebrows,
AIDS to beauty.
The psychedelic walk
does not reveal
the synthetic blood
which corrupts the veins of life,
AIDS to beauty.
AIDS to beauty
beauty to AIDS
appearance deceives reality
death lives in life
hatred lives in love
bitterness coexists with pleasure
AIDS to beauty.

Yeah, I'm well aware. I'm from South Africa so I've been aware of the dangers of HIV for many years. It is tragic though when you love or trust someone, just to learn that they didn't give a damn.
