Searching For Silent Answers

I felt it
Everytime it came up strong
Everytime I ignored
Everytime I pray
That non'entity wax into the fate of reality
Never to take a hold

Some things do change
Moments, times, seasons alike
Plunge in obeisance
As if to the most high
Will-less or will-full
It takes a hold

How would I have forseen
That you wouldn't stand the test of time
Last time
You said "bye"
You didn't just leave
You took your heart along too
Shadowy it crawled behind
Ugly silhouette
Take a hold I say!

The pumpkin plant had grown older
Green, lush, bloomy
Spreading it's goodness to the world
But last time
You bowed in shame
Yellow, wilted, droopy
Ah! poor pumpkin
what happened
"Time took a hold"

Your love is like the slip of dew
I heard the note clearly
Everytime the leaves whistled in obedience to the harsh wind
You who stirred a tremor in the hollow of my soul
Come patch me up
Take a hold from within me

My hopes like the ocean will spring up
My desires like the horses will ride into the king's heart
Dwelling therein
Frozen
And I'd keep praying
That reality never takes a firm hold

I dedicate this piece to those forlorn lovers out there
