Orangutang

in #poetry7 years ago

I've seen through the eyes of a raged orangutang.

Fire fierce visions of burning down entire jungles.

Holding tree branches with bare handed haired grip.

Ready to disintegrate the bones of any bystander on the way.

Enraged and engaged with distractions of heart.

Generally, orangutang's speak up and speak firmly.

With infinite compassion feeling deeply.

This time different,

Weariness caught the throat.

Compounding all devastation brought into community.

Disintegrating ties like a plague.

Gripping more firmly.

Gauging it's breath.

It's short.

Finding energy.

Fuller.

Branch snaps with the force of sun's gravity.

Breathing.

Deeper.

Expanding, more fully.

I have seen through the eyes of Orangutang.

There are not tears here, now.

Always love, but no tears.

This is the time to be fierce.

To protect.

To express a great celebration for life that is un-fuckable-with.

This is the party.
