His arms longed to be her home
Angle of solace, ever crooked in welcome
A warm hug per time life hit her in the face
Healing with love, at her own pace.
Home's wherever the heart lies
Where her being ought to find some peace
Hers lost its way when 'twas broken in too many a piece
Forever, to love she said her goodbyes.
Cut by her broken pieces, his arms would bleed
Empty, in fatigue, the crooks will straighten
Still, warmth will wait patiently for her return
For love remains a mystery.
