Window Shopping

Just look through glass,
A life of deserving,
A life that could,
Fat free,
Blemish free,
Natural,
Healthy,
Nothing is impossible,
Believe.

Prospects abounds abroad,
Glasses of wine deep and dark,
Crystal embalmed behind velvet curtains,
The touch of hands that hardly met
A picture of a memory,
Every slow lit-cigarette,
Every walk is at midnight,
With beautiful people in beautiful lives,
With beautiful wives in beautiful clothes,
The white picket pulls.

Oh a life of deserving,
A life that could,
Half price tomorrow,
Double today,
Right now never.
