Ahh~ certainly miss this feeling. Though it's not new, but I'm just so happy these days. Perhaps I've told you in the past about my favorite Japanese idol group which is NEWS as well as the meaning of my username, so for those who didn't know I'd say it again.
NEWS is a Japanese idol group which originally was composed of 9 people but they lost members along the way for various reasons. Now, they're a group of four. One of them is the reason for my username. His name is Tegoshi Yuya, while I'm Sheila. I combined Tego from his family name, and Shei from my name. Thus, @tegoshei.
I have been in love with him for almost 10 years now. Most of the poems I wrote in the past were about him. Well, it might be ridiculous for some people. I am aware that my existence doesn't matter to him, but his existence matters to me and to a lot of other people. Personally, he and his group saved me from depression years back. That's perhaps the reason why their group has become an essential part of my life, especially him. This is a feeling a fellow fangirl could empathize.
Their group has helped me widen my connection to the world, too. I got to communicate with fangirls in the Philippines as well as in other countries, some of them I still keep in touch with up to this date. It's lovely to see my fellow fangirls getting married and having a family of their own, yet they continue to love NEWS. I suppose what my Fudanshi-senpai said is entirely true, "Once a fangirl, always a fangirl."
