Loneliness
it empties us
it is a void that sucks us in
a blackness
That holds us captive
a darkness from whence we cannot escape
loneliness is
the tears we don't cry
but still feel
the weight of too much
loneliness is
realizing the vastness of your own mind
how your thoughts tear into you
like sharp knives
but sometimes
that loneliness
is all we have
and we welcome the loneliness
because it's the only thing we can feel
