The Writers’ Block Poetry Contest (#twbpoetrycontest) is excited to announce Week #5’s winners, at long last!

Congratulations to the winners, and a shoutout to all of the participants as well. Last week’s prompt may have been a bit more complex, so to all those who braved into those waters, we commend you too! And now, on to the new prompt!

Thanks for hosting these contests. Here's my entry :

With the help of my poem I've tried to raise awareness regarding domestic violence which sadly still prevails in the society.

Thank you so much! I'm rather surprised--pleasantly surprised. It was such fun, and quite the challenge.

And congrats to WarpedPoetic and GodFlesh as well!

Congrats, Anike.

Congo Rats everyone!

Hello there. I am a total amateur but have found a new love for writing poetry and writing in general. My punctuation is awful and I would be grateful for any help with this. That being said, I would like to enter this competition, but am a little confused as to whether the poem has to be about the suggested image(Boat/stormy clouds). Could you just clarify this for me and I will make a start. Thanks for doing what you do here on steemit. Makes it so unique.

Hi! The poem has to be based on that image. You actually don't have to use the image in words in the poem if you don't want to, but the poem should be based on the image somehow, and that should be clear. Hope that clarification helps!

That's great stuff. I will give it a go :)

Thank you so very much for this win. I wasn't too sure of my submission but it seems I did something right. Once again thanks for validating my writing and encouraging me.

Steemit Writing Contests: Issue #46. The list is updated on a daily basis and your contest will remain on the list until its expiration - there's nothing you need to do.@moneyinfant has added your contest to the list

The list was created to save writers the excessive amount of time spent searching through the #contest tag for writing contests. Now they can just come to the list each day, see new contests and use their time doing what they love - writing.

If you'd like to help spread the word about the Steemit Writing Contest List I'd really appreciate a resteem, but it certainly isn't necessary. The project is simply meant to help writers save time and contest creators attract more contestants.

P.S. If you know of any contests I've missed I'd love to hear about them. Thanks!

Hi everyone, congrats to those who won, y'all were dope!

Remembering my late dad who died in April and good times we had together.

I adjusted the title and changed the picture after checking the rules again a second time, hope that's okay.

I hope you guys enjoy, criticism is welcome since English isn't my first language I could use any pointers.
