I see before me a puma with dark eyes,
See how it jumps, see how it flies!
It creeps and crawls along the firmament,
That no other creature dares follow it.
Animals of all sorts run and scurry,
For they are off in a hurry.
Afraid of the great beast, no one brave,
It's peace and tranquility they crave.
As for the Puma, she's hungry for blood,
The bigger the better, no duds.
She quietly stalks in the dark,
Scaring even the bark.
Then she pounces and lands on its target,
A poor, helpless deer is what it did get.
Satisfied, she scrounges deep in its belly,
Tomorrow will be different, maybe go to Philly.
