I still have the urge to find a remote little part of the world myself but having a son recently has changed my outlook on life somewhat in that when I have these thoughts nowadays, I know I can't let them overpower my emotions like I used to because I need to find the strength to guide him through the same confusion that I suffered myself but hopefully my suffering through these things will mean that I will be able to ease his in future.
When I realised how the world actually works and why it works the way it does, it at least removed some of the confusion from my mind, if not the anger.
