Like a farmer picks his fallen crops,
I could feel the comfort of your heart
How big it was through the
Help of your gentle hands.
Your help was a surgery to the
Complicated fracture of my hope.
For months, my life was saturated
With the pregnancy of worries
It was a hard time for me
From weeks to months I was heavy
With the twin of depression
But as the blind eyes sees at
The intervention of a miracle
My life changed from the abortion
Of your helping hands.
My pregnant worries and
Depression vanished!
Now, each day I find solace
Of a better man in your hands
They hold me firmly,
As a mother caress her child;
Parenting my heart with hope!
My thoughts
Today I was doing some light reading on my books and thought of writing a simple poem. How the words came I don't know. I remember making an entry to @vit 's poem of hope contest, I was among the lucky winners of his poetry contest; his contest inspired this piece. Life is not as easy as some thought it will be. Hope is a vitamin that energizes our race in life, it suppresses worries , depression and weariness. Hope is a life jacket in the ocean of life, that moment we feel Ike drowning, it makes us float. To anyone out there lacking the vitamin of hope.. This is for you.
