Show me the path

Laying in my bed, staring at the ceiling.
The quite of the night, like a beast lurking.
Ready to pounce at any moment.

The moon is my light, my only companion.
The silence is deafening, darkness looming.
I'm feeling so cold, cold as ice.

I am at the edge, the edge of sanity.
I am at my limit, I can no longer hold.
My mind swimming in the sea of doubt.

I question everything yet there is no answers.
The future is bleak with no light to see.
Tomorrow's another day, another dull day.

What shall I look forward to?
I have nothing to expect.
My dream gone like a gust of wind

Where would I go from here?
My path is blocked by a blinding fog.
Tethered only by a thin line of hope.

I am about to break, my heart tattered.
It is over. That's my final thought.
Yet, when I was to give up, You pull me back.

Pulling me out of the void of depression.
Like a warm sunlight, You warm my heart.
You show me the path....

There will be time in our life that we lost sight of our dreams, thus bringing despair in our hearts. But, we must remember that in our moment of hopelessness, "He" will come to show us the path.
