Greetings everyone! This is my entry in the Steemit Poetry Contest #14, hosted by @terrycraft.

The theme for this week's contest is "words"
Inaccurate
Slippery fish in an ocean of sound
Little ones, big ones, floating around
Some scream, some whisper, one sings like a lark
Here's a drab one, a fancy one, a glow-in-the-dark
Here's one: you have to experience to get it
Another's ineffable (don't try to eff it)
One says different things to different people
Another sounds good but is actually evil...
I did find the right one, but it slipped away
Leaving me grasping at straws all day
So here's a replacement that doesn't quite fit
The meaning I needed: "inaccurate"
