Poetry Pangea
Once upon a distant time
The world was one in prose and rhyme
But drifted slowly far apart
and shook the poets' tender heart.
So many miles across we spread
As further still the countries fled.
Alone, within a distant land
And nothing but a pen in hand...
After time to hone our art
Years older, though still years apart.
A hand appeared, cast out the rope
And, with it, brought a ray of hope.
Poets far had seen the sign
Brought, perhaps, by the divine.
A stable world, built not on rocks
But wrought instead on chain of blocks!
With this new versatility
We look to build community
So join us in majestic flight!
Our battle cry "Poets unite!"

For anyone interested in Pangea, it was the name given to the land mass that drifted apart to create the world as we know it today. The world may have drifted apart, but for thousands of years people have been stitching it back together with technology!

If I've done it right (I've had no experience with imgur before being on steemit) you should be able to access it on my imgur https://thetalkingduck.imgur.com along with another version with different colours.
I'm not 100% competent with technology, but I think I do alright for a duck! 😉
