God, I feel like I could bath in this stuff this morning due to a rough night. Mrs Stav was restless and woke me up around 23:30 and that was me awake until 04:30ish.

I had considered getting up and doing some study but I'm not convinced I'd be able to recall what I was reading. Instead I was thinking about things I could possibly do to earn some money and even contemplating starting my own business. It's something I've wanted to do for a while but there are all kinds of challenges with that in the current climate. I shall give it some more thought though.
It has been unusually muggy here on the coast where we usually escape the close weather. We had rain yesterday afternoon into the evening so I was hoping it would freshen up. It seemed to get worse. The cats were not impressed either as I found them huddled under the garden table.

What a pointless post ... but there we go :)
I'm very familiar with a broken night's sleep, being an eternal insomniac. You did the right thing - therapists always told me never to do things that would kickstart the brain in those hours. Better to do something more relaxing to keep your mind and body in the sleep zone.
Urgh, not fun is it? I go in fits and starts when it comes to sleeping but it had been good until recently. Interestingly I've not been writing in my journal which I found really helped when I started. Will have to kick that off again and see what happens.
I've kind of given up having a reliable sleep pattern. But no, it's not fun. Nothing more frustrating than feeling tired as hell but not being able to fall asleep!
I try to journal regularly though I'm not as good with it as I should be. It does me good mentally so I try to do it at least several times a week. Easy to get out of that habit, I have to nag myself sometimes. 😄
The pointless post got you another cup of coffee ☕
:)
The best kind of pointless post :)
Lack of sleep is not good as it messes you up all day. Even coffee can only do so much. I have been enjoying a fresh cup each morning whilst at home.
Almost looks like one cat with two heads there. I assume they get on okay.
I hope the work situation improves soon. I know some companies are getting people back in offices, but they cannot be the same as before. There must be some WFH options out there.
Mine was a fresh treat this morning as I usually use instant. The latter is OK but I really do like this Italian Style one.
The cats get on fine. It took them a while as we introduced Sparkle as a kitten (the front one) to Jazz when he was about 10 years old. Unfortunately we had to have his brother put to sleep. They love curling up with each other.
I have to admit I've taken a bit of a break from the job hunting these past two weeks as it was driving me bonkers. It has given me a chance to focus on passing this exam which may help in the long run.
