I love the Nintendo 3DS family, the amazing games, the clever characters in those games and the beautiful soundtracks, that most of us can only dream about making.
But do you know what game has stuck with me since I first played it in 2011?
Pokémon Black/White.
The beautiful (and emotional) story of N, and the unique Team Plasma, who wanted to free Pokémon from their trainers.
But today, I'm going to share my Top 20 favourite songs in the whole Black/White soundtrack.
Here we go...
Number 20: Trainer's Eyes Meet-Psychic.
This may be quite an obscure theme throughout the game but that doesn't mean that it is not AMAZING! It displays how a Psychic type trainer may use tricks within a battle against you.
Number 19: Nuvema Town
A beautiful home town theme filled with emotion. A brilliant first town theme to start your adventure off!
Number 18: Musical-Meloettaaa!!!
A lively theme showing how a trainer may have just spotted the Mythical Pokémon, Meloetta, and How said trainer is becoming exited to witness such a thing
Number 17: Lostorn Forest
A mysterious theme for a mysterious place. It shows how something may be hiding a secret
Number 16: GTS (Global Trade Station)
An interesting theme, it symbolises how you could trade with anyone in the world. From Japan to America to Spain, it could be anyone.
Number 15: Battle-Team Plasma (B2W2 Only)
BW's version wasn't that good but then B2W2 came along and I fell in love with that theme! Intensity|Check
Rhythm|Check. We are a go people, we are a go!
Number 14: Victory Lies Before You!
This theme! It shows how the Gym Leader will give it one last push with their last Pokémon! Their Ace! And they will do anything to stop you!
Number 13: Champion Battle- Sinnoh Version
Shows how no matter how far away a trainer has come from, power will still be with them if they have earned it.
Number 12: Battle!-Champion Iris!
This theme is unique as Iris is still a young girl. It shows how anyone, of any age can do what they desire, for Iris, it was to become strong like the Champion, so, she beat the old champion and took their place.
Number 11: Abyssal Ruins
An eerie piece, showing the mysteries of the deep sea. It shows how something small, like a door underwater can lead to a maze of rooms below.
Number 10: Driftveil City
A busting city theme that shows how the citizens are ready (and excited) to get up a go work for their city and themselves.
Number 9: Battle (N)
Not his final Battle theme but this Battle theme shows Mystery as N, at this point in time, still doubted Team Plasma but was willing to call himself a member of them.
Number 8: Route 10
Where do I start? This is the most beautiful and emotional Route music from any Pokémon game to date. It shows how your adventure is coming to an end. Like a day filled with sunshine and then this music represents the elegant sunset.
Number 7: Skyarrow Bridge
A lively little piece showing how the smallest idea can lead to the biggest things. A person thought about a bridge over the river and then BOOM! Skyarrow Bridge Came
Number 6: Summer in Lacunosa
A happy piece showing how even the scariest things can be viewed happily. This piece develops a big contrast to the 'monster' that lives nearby.
Number 5: Decisive Battle (N)
Oooh Top 5 Now!
This theme is BRILLIANT. You and N go head to head to choose the future of the Unova Region. A powerful theme for a powerful battle!
Number 4: Battle! Reshiram/Zekrom
Brilliant. Depicts the truth and ideals idea perfectly with either added Bolt or Flare sound effects depending on version.
Number 3: Battle! Colress
5...4...3...2...1... Things just got serious. This guy means business. Especially when he has a COUNTDOWN in his Battle Theme showing how he is ready to fight for his team.
Number 2: Battle! Legendary PKMN
Amazing theme and the distorted Piano adds tension while the speed change shows how you could be winning one moment and dead in the next.
And Finally... Pokémon fans would have probably guessed this by now.
Number 1: Elite Four Battle Theme
OMG OMG OMG!!!!!! Amazing theme. Bass line builds up tension with the main theme showing how hectic and intense the battles might get!
As usual, I've been Collinseb and thanks for reading. See ya!
