Hi there. In this Pokemon TCG post, I cover the illustration rare version cards of Latios and Latias ex. I also cover the Vivillion evolution line cards from Japan's Supercharged Breaker Pokemon set.

Latios

From a gameplay perspective Latios is not a great attacker. The damage output from the Skill Dive attack and the Jet Headbutt attacker is not high. The art version of the Latios card is very colourful, shiny and appealing.

I can see this Latios art card easily being at least 10 CAD.

Latias ex

In a previous post I did cover Latias ex. From a TCG gameplay perspective this card is very good. Its Eon Blade attack is kind of meh at 200 damage for 2 Psychic Energy and one Colourless Energy. The ability of Skyliner on Latias ex is very good. Your Basic Pokemon in play have no retreat cost. Retreating Basic Pokemon is helpful with switching attackers and for using an ability in the Active Spot of one Pokemon then switching into attack mode.

Because Latias ex is a playable card and this art is very nice this art version of Latias ex is easily 20 CAD or more. It could reach 50 CAD for a copy.

Scatterbug, Spewpa and Vivillion

Pokebeach Source

Scatterbug is a 40 HP Basic Grass Pokemon with one retreat cost and Fire weakness. The Call For Family attack is good in the early game for Benching a Basic Pokemon from the deck to your Bench. This Scatterbug is not for attacking.

Spewpa is a Stage 1 80 HP Grass Pokemon that evolves from Scatterbug. It has 3 retreat cost, Fire Weakness and two attacks. The first attack of Pace Around costs 1 Colourless Energy just to Switch Spewpa to the Bench with one of your Benched Pokemon. Tackle is the second attack. It costs one Grass Energy to do 30 damage.

Vivillion

Vivillion is the final evolution of Scatterbug. This Stage 2 Grass Pokemon has 120HP, one retreat cost and Fire weakness. The second attack of Cutting Wind costs one Grass Energy to do 90 damage. Its first attack costs one Colourless Energy for an evolution effect. For each of your Benched Pokemon search your deck for a card that evolves from that Pokemon and put it on that Pokemon to evolve it.

I cannot think of Pokemon on the Bench that you want to mass evolve with Vivillion. You do risk a lot of cards just to mass evolve on the Bench. I don't know.

You can use these old Scatterbug and Spewpa cards to quickly evolve from Scatterbug to Spewpa and then to this Vivillion.
