For those that do not know, a professional poker player, Chris Ferguson, made a personal challenge. That challenge was to make $10,000 from nothing, by following smart bankroll guidelines!

I have been playing poker for a living for 8 years now. The good news is back in 2014 I actually completed this challenge myself on a site called Ultimate Poker!
Ultimate Poker and WSOP NV had just launched and after my transition to playing more live didn't work as well as I hoped I found myself with only a enough money to put the desired bankroll on only one of the sites. To make sure this problem didn't happen again in the future I decided to prove to myself I could do this challenge so I took the $.50 I won in a free roll on Ultimate Poker, got "lucky" in a few cash games over the next 3 weeks and finally had $100. Enough to really follow the bankroll rules properly, and ran that $100 up to nearly $20,000 in just 6 months. The bad news is I have very minimal proof of this very difficult task! Just my multi-table tournament winnings from that site, no sit-n-go's, I played sever thousand of those, plus all the cash games.
THE TWIST
Back to the good news! I'm going to repeat this Bankroll Challenge by posting daily updates every time I play! Here is the Steemit Twist! Instead of wasting my time playing free rolls I'm going to fund my poker account only from SBD I get from my posts!
The Goal SBD>BTC>ACR>BTC>$10,000 to be re-invested in Steem!
The Rules
My America's Card Room account will be funded only by SBD from this post and this one linked here !

If by chance I do go broke, bad streaks happen, I'll use only the next Steemit post that pays out between me going bust
The similarities between the Ferguson Challange and mine will be this.
-I will only risk 5% of my bankroll on any single cash table or 1 table Sit and Go Tournament
-I will only risk 2% of my bankroll on any single multi table tournament.
- I will move up and down stake accordingly until the finish of the challenge
- Bonus Goal -He thought he could do it in 6 months and I have done it in 6 months, so the goal is UNDER 6 Months!
The Sample
I will take an afterwards screen shot after each session. Plus I will talk about strategy, the crazy, the funny hands of the day.
The Set Mine
This is just a sample so I'm not going into all the details of the set mine here, but I will leave you with this. In most poker games just calling preflop with small pocket pairs, and then folding nearly every flop that does not give you 3 of a kind. As a final strategy tip, when the flop action goes bet, you raise, player behind you jams all in, initial bettor calls all in, your top pair is no longer good! That's the mistake that my opponent made, this sample hand, that allows me to profit on a consistent basis
Thank you everyone for your time!
Any Suggestions?!? What makes you interested in reading about poker?
Happy to find poker fans here!!))) Followed ya
Thanks for the support of the poker community! I might have to put this experiment on hold a few months due to the lack of poker players on steemit though. Very soon we will have enough of our compatriots for me to make poker posts!!!
Rooting for your buddy. I know you got this.
But how does Full Tilt manage my bankroll? :)
Huh?
