Poker league update Structure details first event 01/22

in #poker8 years ago (edited)

Hi people im super excited about this league starting  up soon, I have been busy talking to diferent people about this idea and it looks like we should have our first tournament in just under 2 weeks time.

Structure 10 minute blinds 5000 starting chips and 2 hours rebuy with addon

Entry, rebuy and addon 1$.

As a whole we can discuss how aditional post revenue should be shared amongst players, tournament and league winners in the coming days.

I have posted on Betcoin about this as well, Im hoping that we can get some Betcoin poker players to sign up on steemit at the same time and make this a little more interesting. Betcoin also offers players the posisilibity to blog in a similar way minus the rewards of course, this could entice many a player to want to start to blog on Steemit.

Link for the Betcoin blog post regarding the betcoin steemit league is included in a comment below along with the sign up link.

I think we have about 20 players commited at the moment after reviewing the many comments on the diferent updates I have been publishing over the last days but this will grow exponentially as the first tournaments have been completed and updates have been posted.

If you want to help me to get this going drop me a comment, retweeting or sharing this would be fantastic, Hashtags #betcoin #bitcoin #steemit #poker #tournaments recommendad

Here is some copy text from my previous updates, feel free to sift through it and add any suggestions you might have.

Steemit Poker Private Texas holdem League

Hi there been busy speaking to the folks at betcoin about organizing steemit only private tourneys and its looking pretty good. Im hoping to get this show on the road at the end of the month. I would like to get a list of all interested players to be able to start the league standings posts and maybe organize a separate account for that sole purpose ( proceeds from that account would be used to fund freerolls and aditional prizes for our private league)

The registration link for Betcoin is a comment below and it also includes the link for the blog post on betcoin poker so that you can reply there and we can start to get an oficial list of players ready.

One very generous Steemian has pledged 100 steemdollars to the first tournament, Big thanks to @sigmajin

If you wish to do something similar mention it in the comments below

This is another of a series of updates , that I have been posting hoping to get more exposure to our online poker comunity.

As I mentioned a few days ago I think betcoin poker is the right place to do this I have been playing poker there for over 2 years without a problem. I always withdraw my bankroll after I finish playing just in case but it seems as safe a place as any to play a few online tournaments or ring games.

In comments below I need to hear from you, include your username on betcoin and any ideas you might have regarding Texas holdem  Poker private tourneys for Steemians only and if you have used my signup link please mention that as well I might have a little gift for you in a few days. Im not trying to increase my sign up count with these post I have over 1400 sign ups already on my afiliate account.

If you have not yet signed up on betcoin please use my afiliate link :  https://www.betcoin.ag?r=2627

you can of course opt to sign up directly and give all your rake to betcoin or perhaps you have a friend who is an afiliate and would prefer to do so with his/her link.

Below original text from first post

Which was posted several days ago.

https://steemit.com/poker/@mallorcaman/texas-holdem-poker-private-tourneys-for-steemians-only

For the last few days Ive been throwing around an idea which involves creating a poker club for Steemians only.

Perhaps 2 weekly private tournaments to start and all results and standings posted right here on steemit.

This could be a good marketing as other poker players would see the name Steemit on the tourney list. If they wished to participate they would need to sign up on steemit.

I have quite a bit of experience organizing marketing tourneys I have worked for pokerstars since 2009 as an afiliate, in my early years I was managing to recruit 5000 plus members a month through some grey hat SEO tactics which were darker than light sometimes. Also did work for Partypoker, Pkr and Fulltilt and a few others which you may have never heard of.

Before I start this I would like to gage the kind of reaction this could get on steemit hopefully we can get 15 or 20 players and increase over time.

So please comment with your ideas and let me know if you might be interested. I have included the sign up link in comments below.

So lets get all the steemdonkeys on board and a couple poker pros to go all in on Steemit!

Cant wait to kick your asses on the poker tables.

@mallorcaman

P.S. Sorry for the reposts but in order to make this interesting we will need at least 20 players to participate I would say.  I have also used some steemdollars to promote some of the updates to ensure we get enough players on board, next update will include all the users that have replied and showed interest.

Sounds interesting, im in! Maybe u can also make other leagues with different games and structures ;)

Please discuss this with me. I am a moderator at betcoin. I'd like to help organize this event (or at least help make the details more transparent). PS I run those 6zs freerolls. Let's chat, like I said in the betcoin thread, on slack (or phone etc).

Betcoin is a awesome place to play and i would love to join your private league. I just made a account here so message me some details. We need more details on how to join buddy! Also, what is the list, play times and such! Thank You-

So I see this was a bunch of horse shit. Probably a way to try and get free up-votes and referrals. Here for those of you want want to play in free poker tourneys daily for free bitcoin and don't want to deal with a downing story's like this! https://www.betcoin.ag?r=173026 They also have a board now where they count wins to earn more free bitcoin.
