How I play with my photos - Lake Solina, Poland

in #poland7 years ago (edited)

Lake Solina (Jezioro Solińskie) is an artificial crated lakie in Bieszczady mountains. Created in 1968 when the San River was dammed. It is about 60m deep and has an area 22 square kilometres (8 sq mi). It is the largest artificial lake in Poland.

In the depth of the water you could still find ruins of a village. Pretty creepy eh?
But the lake is absolutely stunning!

This is the original shot that I took from the dam that you can freely walk on, take a boat spin on the lake, bath and enjoy the green mountains around.

I like the edit cool to see the original

Thanks JJ :) I thought it would be a good idea to show what I was starting with.

Absolutely love to aged look to the edit. What a gorgeous group of sailboats. The composition is very on spot.

Thank you! The place is so pretty and perfect for relaxed holidays. Lots of boats there as the lake is very very long and turn into a river between the mountains.

Is not creepy, we have lakes with ruins here too

They are creepy too then :p
Imagine you swim under and you see tables, fences... old rooms with swimming plates... all covered in algae and darkness...
So creepy! :D

Nooo!! It's cool!! There's even an old catholic church under a lake here! All the fishes go and confess their sins! 😅

Hahahah Poor fishes.. must terrifying inside. With the Sharky priest and some octopussies as helpers...

Eh... Ewa, there's no shark or octopus in a lake....

They are in my imaginary lake. Evil evil place :p

So much calm!

Yeaaa... it's so pretty there and quiet :)

Ohhh smooth... Love the edited version!
