PolenX.com has got some changes that may be of your interest ;)
A few of these changes were already in the oven getting ready for release, and a few, specially layout related, were possible thanks to feedback from users, so thank you for helping the platform to improve!
Perfomance
Loading the chart and the trade history used to take over 1 second, in some cases it could take a couple second and that was unacceptable. This issue was due to a misconfiguration on the database (the trade history is indexed to avoid querying too much the Hive API).
By fixing the indexing of trades our servers can now fetch the trade history in a few milliseconds and return the information in under 1 second in many cases, depending on a few factors, such as geographical position. More improvements will be done to further improve performance, as that is a key metric to acquire and keep users on an exchange.
Layout
Thanks to feedback from users and friends we decided on a few core layout changes that were prioritized. The exchange page was revamped and looks more sleek now.
Continuous improvements will be done, and we hope that feedback doesn't stop coming so we can decide what to prioritize.
Usability
When first released nothing was stored on the local session on the browser, because the release was basically exactly the development version we had. But now that we have a few users, of course we don't want them to keep logging back in (devs do that though), so now there is storage management.
If you log in with one username that username will be remembered by the website so you won't have to log back in every time you close the tab. That is an obvious change that had to be done ASAP.
Needless to say, since the login is done by Hive Keychain, we just store information about the username, by nature of the Keychain no passwords, keys or signing information is stored at all. Saving the username only allows you to use Keychain without inputting your username again and again.
