RE: Why modern policing was doomed to fail before it even began.

"This gives police a role, a manifestation, and a purpose. This is where we have our first performative contradiction. Police are funded by theft via taxation."

I love pithy, short thoughts that use logic to destroy most people's assumptions about something in an instant.

That, right there, is going to demolish any notion that the modern concept of police can be rational... at least for anyone with two brain cells to rub together, and especially for those of us who grok basic logic and what a performative contradiction is.

This is the kind of work people need to be reading about the logical and practical and economic absurdities of the state.

Since most people are too sensitive to start seeing it from the moral front, addressing the economic counter-intuitiveness of it can disarm them and open the door for them to also see that morally it is entirely inconsistent and downright evil.
