Want opinion, especially law enforcement. I posted this audio because I was pissed at what happened & to show how a (very) small percentage of my colleagues hold disregard towards minorities.
The backstory - this is a couple of weeks after I was the victim of an attempt murder whilst working undercover. The police service bought a wire for me to re-deploy. I was entering into a play, literally walking through the door of a Hells Angels bar, when I noticed the wire was transmitting the wrong way. I could hear the surveillance team loud & clear but they could not hear me. The wire had obviously not been tested. I bolted. This was an unacceptable mistake.
I called through angrily to my handler. He told me to park in a parking lot and wait for collection. What these morons forgot is I had a wire and could hear everything they were saying. They were talking about their dislike for me, and how they intentionally got me to park in a gay pickup location.
For 45 minutes, I was approached with constant offers of sex from men. At this time, and unknown to me I had already been struggling with #PTSD from the attempt on my life.
After posting, numerous people have commented that this was straightforward workplace bullying. What do you think?
