Quakers are more radical than Baptists, they are truly anarchists. They abide by the "non-resistence to evil tener" taught by Christ and are pacifisits to the core. They do not admit for a Christian the use of weapons and do not enter military service. Even selfdefense is anatema, because a Christian should be willing to die rather than resort to violence. They view political power as the ultimate source of violence.

Great comment on the Quakers being anarchists. However, libertarians are big proponents of having guns and self-defense (but are very against aggressive, expansionist wars that extend state power). In this sense, Baptists are libertarians rather than Quakers. Baptists could be anarchists as well, so long as they hold the view that the state is either tacitly or overtly satanic!
