RE: Introducing Policy of Liberty - Preparing for Liberty

Excellently expressed!
I believe that more and more people on a daily basis are beginning to open their eyes to the true world around them.

I recommend a book called "Unspeak: words are weapons" by Steven Poole

Thank you. I will have to check it out.

I'll check out the book. Is it a modern version of Orwell's "newspeak"?

Steven Poole's book points out the hidden meanings and sub-texts used; usually for political gain.
It is used by governments and the mainstream media.
For instance the phrase 'collateral damage' is politically charged. It softens the blow of what it actually means.
If the truth were to be told the people wouldn't accept it's true meaning as readily.
If these political groups said that it's ok to kill civilians and blow up their privatly owned dwellings, in order to get the bad guys. The reaction might be vastly different.

Another example would be when it comes to the highly emotional topic of an induced abortion.
Both sides will try to win the argument in their slogan.
Pro Choice and Pro Life.

You notice I said "induced abortion". I did this because when the word abortion is used it has a certain connotation.
An abortion can also mean what is commonly referred to as a miscarriage.

I think the mainstream media for instance, should be reporting the facts and not trying to lead you with emotionally charged bias one way or the other.

This book helped me look at words, phrases and statements and look beyond their face value.
