I remember back in the days (15 years ago), when I was running a couple of small gaming websites... I had nice advertisers and I wanted to keep them happy, so I was occasionally buying traffic... In those times, over 90% of traffic was bots, so there were signs for Dead Internet theory, but with AI and AI Agents, this is going to another level...
It looks like every bot knows much better what WE (humans) really NEED more than ourselves... That's why we are moving faster and faster toward "bot internet"!

That model wasn't sustainable for sure, was there any way to filter out bots from paid activity? I mean, it's not really a fair deal, is it?
In those days, I did a "manual" research and proved that they were cheating... So, I got a refund for the fake traffic... But, I bet many didn't know to do that and "fed the fake-traffic beast"...
The same happens today, people giving their power and attention to fake things... Such a waste of time... 😞
